I have lost 8 pounds. I struggled through going to the fair and smelling all those wonderfully bad for you but oh so delicious foods, a BBQ and a wicked craving for the best pizza I have ever had. But here I am almost a week in and I have actually seen some progress. Challenging in so many ways but the end result will be every bit worth it.
The diet itself is really not so bad and once you really get into it and your body adjusts from the lack of carbs and sugar you feel SO much better. I have energy, my stomach no longer hurts constantly, and my skin even looks better.
I have to say I miss my summer fruit and corn on the cob and my carbs, but I will not miss all the weight I want to lose. So here is to being a hot mom not a moo.
